This is a satirical image I created showing what happens when the credibility of a 'news' channel is exhausted, overtaken by the events. The people who watch 'FOX NEWS' channel will find it more amusing (or annoying if you have been brainwashed ).
But it still should hold some commentary/satire value for the non USians, especially if you read Orwells "1984".

The images attribution :
Background - Stock from ~hiddensoull
Leash - No copyright, seized by the US army investigation team.
Powell - No copyright. Government image. Photoaltered (vial inserted) of the frame from the State Department video of the proceedings in the UN. [link]
Carrier - No copyright. Government image. Photoaltered (message changed) US Navy from [link]

The Faux News logo is drawn by me (based on the Faux news site logo).
Text is inspired by Orwell.

This is my second try, the first one was removed for aleged violations of Copyright (apparently DA does not recognise the Fair use clause in the law), even thought the use of the news photos fits 100% in the US law fair use clause. I was rather unhappy about that. Here is a link to the original deviation.
Its on my site and it fits with the fair use clause so I think the DA Copyright squads will leave it alone [link] It took me longer to 'fix' the non copyrighted images to suit than it took me to create the original. Not happy.

Coincidentaly, I recommend you read "FREE CULTURE" by Stanford Law Professor Lawrence Lessig (Free download), where he says;
"Professor Lessig shows us that while new technologies always lead to new laws, never before have the big cultural monopolists used the fear created by new technologies, specifically the Internet, to shrink the public domain of ideas, even as the same corporations use the same technologies to control more and more what we can and can't do with culture. As more and more culture becomes digitized, more and more becomes controllable, even as laws are being toughened at the behest of the big media groups. What's at stake is our freedom--freedom to create, freedom to build, and ultimately, freedom to imagine."

The government images are public property.
Here is the line from the US copyright office in case there is any doubt. [link]

Yay!

I just watched America Freedom to Fascism!

I'm also a big fan of 1984.

Rock on! We really have to do something about this, otherwise we'll no longer be The Land of the Free!
